포크 성향이 짙은 스웨덴의 팝 보컬이자 싱어송라이터 소피 젤마니. 
14살부터 작곡을 시작했고 그로부터 10년 뒤 데모 테입을 음반사 몇 
군데로 보냈는데 그 중 소니뮤직에서 연락이 와서 1996년 발매된 첫 
음반인 Sophie Zelmani가 스웨덴과 일본에서 골드 디스크가 됐다.

줄리아 로버츠 주연의 My Best Friend's Wedding 에서 사용된 
'Always You'로 우리에게 익숙한 그녀의 음악은 대체로 슬로우 
내지는 미드 템포의 스웨디쉬 포크가 주류를 이루는데 마치 한줄
기 산들바람처럼 부드럽고 포근한 때묻지 않은 순수하고 가냘픈 
목소리가 너무도 매력적이다.
