1988년 미국에서 결성, Bon Jovi를 필두로 Def Leppard, Slaughter, 
Cinderella와 같은 팝 메탈 밴드들이 강세를 보이던 80년대말 전형적인 
팝 메탈을 들고 데뷔해 빠른 속도로 인기 밴드 대열에 올라섰다. 메탈 
사운드에 멜로디가 강조되는 서정적인 메탈 발라드 트랙들을 섞는 방식
으로  강력한 대중성을 확보하며 아시아, 유럽의 인기를 이어 왔다.   
 
'90년 데뷔 앨범 파이어하우스는 폭발적인 호응을 얻으며 신인 록 밴드
에게 과분한 더블 플래티넘의 영예를 누리며 이후 이들의 음악 스타일로 
자리잡게 된다. 이 앨범 수록곡 Overnight Sensation 은 스피드한 메탈 
트랙이면서도 국내에서 크게 사랑받았는데 현재까지 많은 국내 메탈밴드
들의 카피곡으로 꾸준한 인기를 이어오고 있다.
